ClearSilk® is a gentle, non-ablative 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser treatment developed by the American company Sciton, which works without damaging the skin’s surface. The laser energy heats the deeper layers of the skin in a controlled manner, thereby stimulating natural regenerative processes as well as collagen and elastin production.
The treatment is particularly suitable for treating diffuse redness, skin prone to flushing and rosacea; it also improves the skin’s texture, tone, elasticity and overall condition. As a result, the skin gradually becomes more even, smoother, firmer and more radiant.
One of the greatest advantages of ClearSilk® is that it does not damage the skin’s surface, so there is no peeling, no sores and no recovery time. You can resume your daily activities immediately after the treatment.
ClearSilk® is an effective skin-improvement treatment in its own right, but when combined with BBL® or ClearV® technology, it offers the possibility of targeting multiple skin concerns simultaneously.

I most often use the ClearSilk® treatment on the face.
The number of treatments required depends on the initial condition of the skin and the desired result. ClearSilk® treatment is generally best carried out as a course of treatments, typically comprising 4–6 sessions at two-week intervals.
A fresher appearance of the skin may be noticeable after the very first treatments, whilst improvements in skin quality linked to collagen production develop gradually over the following weeks and treatments.
Before the treatment, I will cleanse your skin and then fit you with special protective goggles. I will pass the ClearSilk® treatment handpiece over the treatment area several times, whilst the laser energy gradually and precisely heats the deeper layers of the skin.
During the treatment, you will feel a pleasant, gradually intensifying warmth. The duration of the treatment depends on the size of the area being treated; on the face, it is usually 15 minutes.
After the treatment, the skin may be slightly flushed and warm, but this usually subsides within a short time.
Make-up can be applied after the treatment, and you can resume your usual daily activities straight away. Adequate sun protection remains important even after a ClearSilk® treatment.
